Adena Benjamin
Nanoosh is so excited to showcase the work of our beloved Adena Benjamin of Adena Fine Art. Adena and I have been dear friends for nearly eight years and I’ve loved her from the very start. Soft, sweet, engaging and pure, Adena has quintessential feminine energy — she is a super beautiful human inside and out and this permeates her life and, naturally, her art.
Originally from South Africa, she paints from her home studio in Tel Aviv and draws inspiration from Torah wisdom, Chassidic teachings and Kabbalah. Classically trained, she produces deeply spiritual and visually resonant creations, bringing a fluid, intuitive creative process to life with watercolors, acrylics and oils. Her pieces — soft, alluring and full of energy — beautifully bridge Jewish tradition, spiritual identity, and contemporary expression. Through capturing classic Torah imagery, Adena reveals how timeless spiritual spaces can feel entirely fresh through our evolving perspectives.
While incredibly humble (especially about her art), she’s built a reputation as a solid Judaica artist (check her out on instagram as adenafineart) producing large-scale commissions and custom-made siddurim, machzorim and ketubot. She has released an exclusive line of siddurim with Koren Publishers (available now for purchase!) and has collaborated with The Nuttery in New York on their Purim and Rosh Hashana product lines. She’s accomplished this while building a vibrant life with her husband Josh (who was called up, like so many, on October 7th to defend Israel and was gone for months on end) and their cherished dog, Shmush (who did not like the noise of October 7th…).
Adena is radiant, generous, and deeply connected to the beauty of life and tradition and we are so thrilled to work with her, represent her, and support her ambitious vision of expanding into her potential.
