Founded by Rochi Salkow, Nanoosh was born out of a realization that having Israeli art in a Jewish home should be a priority. Originally from Miami, Rochi moved to Israel at 30 years old where she connected more to her Judaism and began her life as a wife and mother in Jerusalem. 

While trained as a lawyer, she was always passionate about art — something she shares in with her husband. Affectionally named after her Nana, an artist and interior designer herself, Rochi was raised with the awareness that a home should be beautified by things that reflect your values. 

It is a core Jewish value to infuse the physical with the spiritual, and there’s hardly a better opportunity to do this than in the spaces where we live and raise our families. And so Nanoosh was born.
